Traders Bank will NEVER ask you for your account information or online user name or password by email or phone.
- Do not open or respond to emails asking for personal financial information such as account numbers or social security numbers.
- Do not respond to postal mail or telephone calls requesting personal financial information such as account numbers or social security numbers.
- Change your online banking password regularly.
- Install and update anti-virus software on your computer.

05.13.2009 - It has come to our attention that a new email scam is being sent claiming to be from Traders Bank. The email contains a link to a fraudulent site. DO NOT open this email or click on any of the links contained within the message.
04.01.2009 - There is a automated phone scam occuring in the area. The call claims to be from Traders Bank and it reports that your Debit Card number has been compromised. You are then asked to enter your Account number and Pin for more details. This is false claim. DO NOT provide any of your account information. Please be aware that Traders Bank WILL NOT ask for personal information via an automated phone system.
